No gas leaks, no bleach spills, no special containment measures, no elaborate safety equipment, calcium hypochlorite tablet system is safe and maintenance is as easy as cleaning the chlorinator. Only the bottom surface of the tablets is in contact with water. Tablets erode at a consistent rate, releasing a controlled amount of chlorine. Model 3150 is designed for pools up to 1 million gallons with an 150-pound capacity for tablets. NSF Standard 50.
